1st Indo-German Workshop on Green Manufacturing

On September 21st, 2009 the 1st Indo-German Workshop on Green Manufacturing was held successfully at BITS Pilani. The main focus of the presentations and the subsequent diskussion was on measures to increase the energy and resource efficiency in manufacturing companies. Furthermore, the utilisation of solar thermal electric energy generators, which concentrate the light from the sun to create heat, has been looked at.
