Scientific Advisory Board Meeting 2023
This year’s advisory board meeting took place hybrid on 24/02/2023. At this meeting, the activities in the individual work areas of the FID Pharmazie and the consortium NFDI4Chem were summarised, and the plans for future development were discussed.
As a participant in NFDI4Chem, the FID Pharmazie is actively involved in the task areas TA2 – SmartLab, TA4 – Standards and TA5 – Community & Training. In TA2, the electronic laboratory notebook Chemotion is being developed directly and adapted to the requirements of the pharmaceutical community.
Additional functional developments of the Narrative Service and its extension Drug Overviews were presented. Both services were developed at the Institute for Information Systems. The service Drug Overviews generates structured overviews of active substances from literature, whereby listed associations are directly linked to the corresponding publications.
The advisory board of the FID Pharmazie includes professors from the pharmaceutical disciplines and computer science. It accompanies and supports the FID Pharmazie with its scientific expertise.
